Shrimp Butterflies

Ingredients

for the Shrimps

  • 0.5 l frying oil
  • 5 pcs large prawns
  • 0.5 pk lemon, juice
  • 1 tablespoon sweet chilli sauce
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch white pepper

for the Breading

  • 70 g flour
  • 70 g breadcrumbs
  • 1 dash milk
  • 2 eggs (beaten)

Shrimp ButterfliesDirections

Sprinkle the prawns with lemon juice and season with salt and pepper. Heat the oil to approx. 180 for frying.

Prepare the flour, beaten egg with a dash of milk and breadcrumbs separately in plates.

Dip the prawns first in flour, then immediately in the beaten egg-milk mixture and finally press the breadcrumbs well onto the prawns.

Fry the prawns for a few minutes in hot oil and enjoy drained with sweet chilli sauce.
